About the project

Neue Gestaltung is one of ten design teams selected by the European Central Bank to develop proposals for the future euro banknotes.
Design C sees Europe as a shared political and social project, shaped by its people. Inspired by Otto and Marie Neurath and Gerd Arntz, the visual language translates the idea of accessible, democratic communication into a contemporary banknote system.
